A professional freelance illustrator and artist printmaker, Paul Bommer is a graduate of the National College of Art & Design (NCAD) in Dublin. His work is distinguished by a strong and witty graphic sense and an irreverent sideways look at life, drawing on a love of simple marks, and the feel and form of words. Clients include the Guardian, Reader's Digest, Harrods, Virgin, Scholastic Books, Quadrille, Which?, Saga, Cartoon Network, Slinky Pictures, the Independent, Museum Journal, London Guildhall, Faber & Faber, the Poetry Society and Nokia.

“I have always loved colourful language and the pictures it paints, and Cockney Rhyming Slang in particular, which is still very much in use.”
